The Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery for this year will officially commence on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. EDT, and the entrance period will close on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 12:00 p.m., the U.S. State Department stated this week. Starting on May 6, 2023, 55,000 visa applications will be chosen. The State Department warns applicants that submitting more than one entry will void all of that person's submissions.
